I’m genuinely delighted—and a little humbled—to share something that’s been quietly growing in my heart for some time: my new book, a collection of 365 daily reflections, affirmations, and poems written for those journeying through cancer, recovery, and the tender unknown that follows.

In the face of a diagnosis, when the days can feel heavy with uncertainty and the familiar suddenly feels far away, this book offers what I hope will be a gentle lifeline. A quiet companion. A moment of peace.

Each piece was born from my own experience navigating cancer—the fear, the fatigue, the moments of grace in between. Through words, I tried to capture the small but steady wonders that helped me stay grounded:
– the rustle of leaves in a soft breeze
– the fleeting warmth of sunlight on skin
– the quiet presence of those who stood by me

These reflections are more than poems. They are daily invitations—to pause, to breathe, to reconnect with the present. In the midst of treatment or during the delicate process of healing, it’s easy to lose sight of yourself. This book was written to gently guide you back—to remind you that even amidst hardship, beauty endures, and so does your strength.

With each page, you’ll find a soft call to mindfulness. A whisper, really—encouraging you to carve out space for stillness, even on the busiest or hardest days. By turning your attention to the world around you—the subtle shifts in nature, the bonds that tie us to others—you may begin to find meaning in each breath, courage in each step, and joy in the present moment.

Whether you’re in the thick of treatment, supporting a loved one, or slowly piecing together life after cancer, I hope this book meets you where you are. It’s not a cure or a solution—but perhaps a source of light. A small, steady beacon to help illuminate your path forward.

If these words speak to you or someone you love, I’d be honoured if you gave it a read—or simply passed it along to someone who may need it.

With warmth and solidarity,

Caroline
